On-Prem Hadoop developer

Looking for short-term (approx 4 months) Hadoop developers to work at a client site (Fortune 500 firm in the Financial Services domain) in Gurgaon, India. Any leads on freelancers or contractors will be appreciated. There will be an opportunity for full-time hire based on work quality at the end of the short-term engagement. • Hands-on experience with big data and real-time application development at on-premise systems, as well as at AWS (AWS certification is a plus) • Strong experience and knowledge in Hadoop Framework & Programming (Hive, Map-Reduce, SPARK, NoSQL DB such as HBase, Kafka, etc.) • Expertise in any of the following high-level language: Java, Scala or python • Expertise in writing UDFs (User defined Functions) for hive and should be comfortable to translate HIVE queries to UDFs • Expertise on AWS with special emphasis on AWS EMR and AWS Lambda • Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of big data technology, architecture best practices, and application development • Experience in leading team of developers • Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions • Ability to deal well with ambiguous/under-defined problems • Ability to drive results with an emphasis on reducing cycle time and increasing speed to market of new products and features • Effective communication – verbal and written; ability to present complex concepts at all levels of detail, and customize level of detail and messaging based on audience Please note that the developer needs to be dedicatedly working full-time and needs to be in Gurgaon, Haryana, India on-site during the entire course of the engagement
