We need a series of illustrations for a software. The software is a gamified system to help writers keep writing their texts, no matter what kind of text. As working on a text is a hard task, the system provides feedback on progress, gives tips from writing experts and helps to plan your writing sessions without deflection. The software is for MacOS only.
For showing the progress of the text, we want to use the metaphor of constructing a building: A text is like a building, that follows certain steps of construction: First the foundation, then the scaffolding, the walls of the first floor, second floor, roof, windows, interieur etc. until it is finished. Every stage of construction needs an illustration, so the writer will be rewarded with a new illustration for every text-level he or she reaches. Also it reflects the process of finishing it.
We need a series of 10 Illustrations, that build on top of each other. Each should represent a progress of building compared to the previous one. It should be clear in every illustration, that it is the same building which is one step further.
The levels are
1. planing
2. foundation
3. scaffolding
4. crane arriving
5. walls 1. floor
6. walls 2. floor
7. roof beam
8. roof tiles
9. windows and doors
10. opening celebration
The illustrations can be simple in style, funny and a bit cartoony.
