"Connect-the-Dots" Illustrations

Job Description: ------------------------- I am looking for 12 illustrations in the style of the game "connect-the-dots". Each illustration shall be made up of 50~80 dots that are connected in order, through straight segments between the dots. See attached pictures for simple examples. Illustrations specifications: ----------------------------- > 12 illustrations, one for each western zodiac sign. - Man holding vase (Aquarius) - Fish/Fishes (Pisces) - Ram (Aries) - Bull (Taurus) - Set of twins (Gemini) - Crab (Cancer) - Lion (Leo) - Young Woman (Virgo) - Scales (Libra) - Scorpion (Scorpio) - Archer Centaur (Sagittarius) - Mythical creature half-goat/half-fish (Capricorn) Illustrations are meant to represent the entity requested (Fish, ram, bull, etc...) and not the symbol of the astrological sign! In conceiving the illustration, please try to convey motion and grandiosity. Examples are a roaring Lion, a Centaur shooting its bow, a charging Ram, etc. Static illustrations or simple side profiles of animals/people/etc are not acceptable. (exception are the Scales, this can be discussed together to define a way forward) The illustrations are not meant for children. Level of complexity shall be enough to be played by adults. Each illustration shall be made up of 50~80 dots that are connected in order, through straight segments between the dots. Illustration Requisites (Must have): ------------------------------------ 1. In .SVG format, illustration is to be made of one single path and one single path alone. When I mention "Dots" I mean vertices of the path. Do not provide additional elements to complete the picture. The path shall be able to fully represent the illustration on its own. 2. No 3 consecutive dots in a straight line. 3. Dots shall not be too close to each other to avoid confusion due to the number label. If strictly necessary, no more than 2 dots in the vicinity of each other. 4. Do not include labels for each dot. Provide only label for first dot. This is sufficient if requirement #1 is followed. 5. Path can be closed loop or open loop. Closed loop preferred. 6. Path shall not be only a silhouette. The more detail you can provide within the requirements, the better. 7. Path intersections are allowed. 8. Path overlap is encouraged to allow for more interesting illustrations but shall be kept to a minimum. See path between dots 8 and 5 where the path overlaps in the example(1).png provided. Deliverable Format: ------------------------- For the final usage of each illustration, only the coordinates of the dots are important. Therefore illustrations can be provided in .svg format, (ready to be opened by Inkscape) or in table format. > .svg format: Each illustration shall be made of one single path line made of straight segments and without bezier curves. The vertices of the path represent the dots in the intended illustrations. The vertices coordinates can then be extracted by us for their intended purpose. > table format: A table containing the x,y coordinates of each vertex as the example below. (In this case the picture would be a square, after connecting the dots) Dot, x, y 1, 1.0, 1.0 2, 1.0, 2.0 3, 2.0, 2.0 4, 2.0, 1.0 Future Work ------------------- Depending on quality of work, additional illustrations will be requested. In addition, new versions of the illustrations might be requested if necessary with a different number of dots, e.g, ~30 (low detail) or ~120 dots (high detail) ------ Illustrations shall be provided with commercial use license.
