Job: Illustration I have a client that needs a series of nine (9) illustrations, please. Illustration Style: They are to be in the style shown in the attachments. Digitally created, black dominant, line drawings with minimal colour. People characters are to be in the style attached. Content: Each illustration will centre around a classroom or learning theme. I will provide these individual briefs. Specifications: We need drafts and final files to be 1. Colour Mode: CMYK 2. Size: To fit within A4 (297 x 210mm) landscape 3. Format: Created in Adobe Illustrator and provided as AI or PDF. Requirements: Please address these in your application so I know you agree. 1. Confidentiality Your drafts and final files are to be kept confidential and are not to appear in any portfolio or published anywhere in print or online. We are a design studio outsourcing the illustration component and we respect our client’s intellectual property and their control thereof. We expect our contractors to do the same. 2. Specifications We need every draft to be provided as vector files, either AI or Illustrator generated PDF. We will not send your raster files to our client for their approval. And we need to amend your vector before sending the draft to our client. 3. Format Please let me know which version of Adobe Illustrator you are using. We are using Creative Cloud. NOTES It is important that you understand the requirements. Failure will result in delayed drafts reaching our client. Thanks very much for your attention. I look forward to hearing from you. FREELANCER Hey there! Do you have descriptions of the 9 illustrations? My process would be to do these by hand, then digitize them. First I would provide you with sketches for you to approve of, then start with the detailing and coloring. If you initiate the chat I can send you some *watermarked* sample illustrations.
