Looking for someone with documentary capture/editing experience. There are two parts, first is to capture an interview on June 30. After capturing, we need you to edit into 2 clips. Capture needs: You would be shooting an interview on Saturday 10 - 3pm. Before Saturday, I would like to meet for an hour to discuss exact plan for the day of the shoot. Location is still to be decided (either Clear Lake or around IAH). I would like 2-3 cameras shooting at the same time. I need audio to be recorded (using a boom mic is fine). You will need to bring your own lighting, cameras and sound capturing equipment. Editing & Producing: The final goal will be 2 files (1) a 10-15 minute segment and (2) a 5 min teaser. In addition to the interview you will capture, there is footage that we will provide of a live performance and another interview. You and I will story board. For editing, I expect an in depth storyboarding session. Following that, I will need 5 edit cycles for each clip. The final file should have some illustrator video effects and after effects.

This project caught my attention because of the tight deadline for the project start date! I am flexible, easy going, and professional while working with a short deadline. I am experienced in doing interview style recording & editing, currently on retainer with a non-profit doing a lot of interview style recording & editing. Again, my time is flexible so meeting up tomorrow to discuss the shoot for Saturday is not a problem at all! Would love to work with you all and excited to learn more about your project! I have worked on projects very similar to this and may be the right match for this job. I am a motion media specialist and am apt in all areas of video production. From filming, lights, etc., to post production and more. I have advance camera shooting and recording experience in that I have 360 and virtual reality video shoots and sound recording for apps that play virtual reality videos such as the Gear VR. I am located in the Houston area and am quite mobile, so I could meet wherever needed for filming. I am a very apt video editor as well therefore turnaround for the finished product will be as you request.
