About us: Out of the Blue is one of Scotland’s leading community, cultural and arts development charities. Our mission is all about creating great places where people want to live and work. Out of the Blue Abbeymount Studios is a thriving artists studio and craft and design education center located in Abbeymount area of Edinburgh. We are currently looking for a part time Digital Marketing Assistant to work for a 3 month period to boost our marketing efforts for Abbeymount Studios with scope to extend the contract and possibly work with other areas of Out of the Blue at the end of the 3 month project period. The goals are for the freelance Digital Marketing Assistant to: Increase people’s knowledge of Abbeymount Studios Raise Abbeymount Studios profile Increase sales of by-the-hour space hire at the studios Increase sales of private studios Increase sales of co-working studio spaces Increase sales of Extra Sessions/Memberships Skills required: Reliable and creative individual who is able to use their initiative and also work as part of team. Professional work ethic. Self-motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges. Knowledge and experience of social media platforms including twitter, instagram and facebook. Knowledge and experience of the Google Suite or Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Knowledge and experience of Wordpress, Mailchimp (or similar). Knowledge and experience of developing digital marketing campaigns. Knowledge and experience of copywriting, proofreading and editing. Previous experience working in a customer focused administration. Knowledge and experience of SEO (SEMrush, Spyfu or similar). Knowledge and experience of Ads (Google Adwords). Knowledge and experience of Social Media engagement and advertising. Knowledge and experience of Google Analytics. Knowledge and experience of Keyword research. New digital ad retargeting experience with likes of adroll would be a bonus. This role is freelance position. We are looking for someone to start at the beginning of July, and working days are flexible, organised around meeting with the Abbeymount Studios team on Wednesdays pm on a weekly basis. £10 /hour, for 8 hours per week, suggested spread over 2 days.
