Implementation of software to communicate with coder printer

This is not a request for a final application. The intention of this project is a proof of concept (POS) for the upcoming application. No focus here on layout and GUI Design. Functionality ONLY AND FIRST. Background information: - The printer is a special so called Coder Printer from the manufactor Rynan technologies. (connected by USB - Cable) - The printer is listed in windows as thermal inkjet coder (based on my knowhow they used [login to view URL] to cennect with printer) -> All drivers and the DLL are provided in the ZIP Package - you can not use any WINDOWS standard Printing Dialogues - It uses complex software produced form the manufactor of the printer. - I need only a small fraction of this and in a very easy way. That is why we need to EXTRACT certain functionality from the original software. - one approach could be to DECOMPILE the MSI Application provided by Rynan (availible in the ZIP File) - at least out of the decompiled stuff you need to identify how communication with printer works. (Maybe the PLC Commands help here, but we lack here a method to load Image to printer) - We have already programmed our own Android Version that communicates over wifi. Unfortunatly Wifi Communication is too slow. Therefor we need this Windows Version. We are also open if you manage to code it on Android with same fast USB Connection. - The original Software allows to save and read mlg files. So we eighter create message ourselves or load MLG file. PLEASE Check first before you bid that you are able to either decompile and extract or recode following functions: - Create 2d Barcode based on input string in 150x150PX and 300x300px - Create Message with 5 line of text and created barcode - Issue print command and send these informations to Printer - Load MLG file. GUI must be very simple: Field for barcode 5 lines beside LOAD / SAVE / PRINT Button that is all. Please install original MSI Version of the programm and see how it works. Then extract the important part where the data is sent by usb to the printer. Testsystem can be remote accessed. AGILE - Rapid development preferred. Mockup: [login to view URL] Use Case: 1: User selects Load 2: File Chooser presented 3: User selects *.mlg file and press OK 4: MLG content is loaded and shown 5: User presses PRINT 6: IMMEDIATE Printer starts printing. (Delay in Android Version is around2 Seconds, With the Rynan Windows Software there almost no delay (couple Milliscounds) an printer is ready Technology: We dont care what technology you use in the end the working product counts, but java is preffered. I suggest you install first the original Rynan software and load the MLG File to see what i want. then print it. The test - system is reachable by teamviewer and i will be present every morning and Evening GMT+1 for 1 hour for testing. Communication over Whatsapp / Skype or Email Do not bid if you are not capable of doing this. This is the 2nd attempt after the first freelancer failed. This is all or nithing deal as it is a POC. There will be no milestone for a fancy GUI. ONE big milestone if you reach the key goal: Loading MLG and print sucessfully with no delay. Then smaller milestone for the GUI and the QR Code generation. I will become exclusive owner of the sourcecode of this POC. Code must be sent daily to my email. 14 Days - Maximum Project Time
