Lead Front-End Engineer for Data Analytics Platform

As Lead Frontend Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with engineering and design teams on the frontend development. You will have the unique opportunity to have meaningful input on application architecture decisions and product experience. In addition to Javascript, React and D3.js you should be well versed in functional programming and be able to produce pixel-perfect frontend components and interactions. The proven ability to collaborate with designers to create highly functional frontend products is required. Beyond the above, specific tasks that may be required include: - Creating interactive data visualizations using Visx, Vega or D3.js - Writing clean, functional code - Web socket programming using libraries such as [login to view URL] - Developing novel UI components - Developing geospatial, network, and hierarchical visualizations - Delighting users with elegant transitions, motion, and animations Responsibilities - Collaborate with team members and be responsive in real-time (Slack and Notion) - Be detail-oriented (e.g. perform your own initial QA before submitting for review) - Participate using Agile processes and associated tools
