pulldown box populated by json data replace data on select

very simple i have a json array that looks like this: {"seta": {"name": "name of set a", "text": "some text fort a", "id": "1234"}},{ "setb": {"name": "name for set b","text": "some text for set b","id": "3333"}} i want the following output a <Select> populated with "seta" as option and "name of set a" as option (repeated for each array entry .. eg. 10 entries 10 options) once one of the option is selected update the <span or <div Id's with all the data eg <span id="id"></span> becomes <span id="id">1234</span> thats it .. 5 minute job i guess
