AWS EC2 - Check/Configure/Report public subnet and gateway settings

I have an EC2 instance that I need to connect to from an external application. That application needs to know the subnet and gateway of my EC2 instance. However, all I can find from the desktop (ipconfig /all) is the private subnet and gateway. I need someone to check my EC2 configuration to see if a public subnet and gateway already exist, set them up if they don't and report on what those addresses should be so I can populate that information in my external application.
