Hello, I have deployed a 6LoWPAN network using the RPL routing protocol to create a mesh network with lighting controllers for the public lighting system in Chile. They work with the SMT32 microcontroller. The Zigbee solution is before the 6LowPAN solution but yet both protocols work with the IEEE802.15.4 standard. I am not actually an RPI expert but I am a network engineer expert with the following Cisco certifications: - CCNP Routing and Switching - CCNA Cyber Ops - CCDA (Design) Even though I may not be what you are looking for exactly, I really love working with these technologies so I am willing to learn anything you need.
