We need to setup our own OSM server ([login to view URL]) to facilitate the resolution of GPS coordinates to addresses (reverse geocoding). OSM has a system called Nominatim which can be setup as a standalone server: [login to view URL] The job comprises of 2 parts: 1) Setup the initial Nominatim server and upload the initial DB 2) Make sure the Nominatim server stays up-to-date automatically with cron-based update scripts Please ONLY apply for this job if you have extensive knowledge about PostgreSQL setup, tuning and maintenance.

Hello mate, Please tell me You dont want to import whole planet :)) I often work with osm with my gps tracking platforms for my clients. Its best to pick up one or few countries and import them. Importing whole planet takes over one week and alot of resources. Let me know if You want to have it done fast ;-) Yours Faithfully Michael
