Automatic Photo Taking, Editing and Upload with Mediatek Boot Scheduling

Required Features: 1. Mediatek Scheduled Power on Mediatek phones come with a feature which allows them to be switched on at a set time on chosen days through the default interface. I need to be able to set the phone to start at a set day of the month and time - so that the phone only starts once a month on a particular day. Needs to support a minimum of MTK6480 and MTK6572 devices. 2. Automatically take photos on boot. This app is launched on boot. It normally takes a photo or photos,edits them uploads them to a server. It gives the user 10 seconds to cancel shutdown and then shuts down the phone. 3. Configuration options: When the App is opened it allows the user to: 3.1 Select the time and date for automatic power on (see 1. above) 3.2 Specify the number of photos taken. 3.2.1 - 1 photo 3.2.2 - 5 photos 3.2.3 - 9 photos For options 3.2.2 and 3.3.3 above there is a specific time delay between each photo (TBC) and when complete all photos are uploaded (1, 5 or 9) photos. 3.3 - ID Number This is a text box field that can take any alpha numeric characters as well as underscore and hyphen.(max 10 characters) This number is prepended to each photo file name. EG. If XYZ is entered, the photo is renamed XYZ_2016-03-01_23:[login to view URL] As above the file name should include the ID number as well as the date and time that the photo was taken. 3.4 - Server details Server name, username,password can be entered These are to be preloaded to predefined details. A file will sit on the server in the upload server called [login to view URL] If present the app will update the server details for the next session with these details. 4 Photo editing In order to reduce the bandwith requirements, the photos should be resized and converted to black and white before upload. Exact dimensions and JPG quality to be decided based on testing. The phones battery percentage is to be encoded in the EXIF information. 5 Testing You will be required to co-ordinate with me and refine the above until it is all tested successfully. The photo resolution, flash and exposure settings will needto be constant. Notes: File Upload SFTP is the preferred file upload mechanism but I am open to suggestions. Security and bandwidth efficiency are the priorities. I had previously posted this project before I had fully investigated the scope. The successful contractor will need to provide full source code as well as a completed .apk Please include your hourly rate also as I anticipate modifications in excess of this scope after completion of the first phase of the project.
