Update: 6/21/17: Just wanted to follow-up and keep everyone updated. I have every bit of the intention to move this product forward. I am piecing my way towards visually depicting what I am looking for so that the tactical side of completing the project runs most smoothly.
Update: 5/31/17: Sorry for the delayed response; I have been traveling for the past week and a half and have not had the time to move forward on this project. However, I am 110% certain that I will still proceed with this project and all the freelancers who submitted a bid will (at some point over the next couple weeks) see feedback from me. Thanks again for your patience and willingness to submit a proposal. I look forward to an on-going relationship with whomever I chose to move forward with on this project.
Update: 5/20/17: Once again, thank you all for submitting your proposals. I have set aside a significant amount of time to review each and every profile and submission so that I could give each developer a fair chance... which ultimately enabled me to go from (78) developers to approximately 25. Below are the (25) that I will now look closer at... plus some general feedback for each.
Bluecoded:
Not a lot of recent reviews nor a reputable “jobs completed” rate; however, the work completed on the Reps & Sets look very solid! Probably the closest to what I am picturing with my project.
Einnovention:
Great metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. Plus, many reviews to back up their credibility. Buzzoid is pure genius!

Great metrics for on time and on budget. Plus, many great reviews to back up credibility. One of a few developers who submitted a design, flow and execution plan. Also ‘preferred freelancer’.

Love the quote on profile! Great metrics for on time and on budget. Not a lot of reviews but the ones she has are great. One of a few developers who submitted a design, flow and execution plan. Steps for bugs and fixes and app’s functionality run through.
Workspace InfoTech:
Great metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. Plus, nearly ½ repeat hire rate! But the reviews aren’t exactly recent.

Great metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. Plus, a good amount of great reviews to back up credibility. Recent reviews a plus. Also ‘preferred freelancer’. Lastly, related exposure to similar completed projects compared to what I am looking for.
BrillBrains Technology:
Great metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. ¼ of clients are repeat! The project proposal from this team suggested a very broad and deep knowledge base. However, reviews are necessarily recent.
MobileService:
Great metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. Most impressed with the quality of the completed projects! Con would be that payment method has not been verified. Recent reviews a definite plus. Also, relevant completed projects in health & fitness.

Excellent metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. Relevant completed projects are definitely a plus. Additionally, many great recent reviews. Lastly, was one of the few developers who indicated they could envision just where I was going with the excel sheet that I attached. The suggestions provided suggested that he read more than just my subject line and has given some thoughts to useful suggestions.
Rexbd1:
Great metrics all around. Seem to have a very deep team with a wealth of experiences. Recent reviews a plus. Also relevant completed projects for health & fitness.

Technorizen:
Good metrics for jobs completed, on budget and on time. However, one of the lower “on budget” developers that I have seen who’ve submitted proposals. Plenty of reviews, though, to back up experience. Recent reviews a plus! Plus, ‘preferred freelancer’. Also relevant completed projects for health & fitness.
Give me another day or so to finish with the mockups and visuals of exactly what I am looking for. What I listed initially is still what I am looking for, but I have received a lot of messages requesting more details.
Last bit... please follow-up and answer yes or no to whether or not you plan to provide the following upon completing the project:
Deliverable Questions:
(Yes/No): Design, flow, and execution roadmap (doesn’t have to be detailed, but I would like to understand an outline of phases.
(Yes/No): Support for bugs and fixes. If so, how long after the project is finished?
(Both/Android): Is the proposal submitted for both platforms or for Android?
(Yes/No): Source Code
(Yes/No): IP Rights
(Yes/No): Technical Documentation of Code
Update: 5/17/17: So many folks have submitted an interest for completing this project -- so thanks! I plan to read everyone's proposals and completed projects. I suppose this will probably take me at least a day to go through and follow-up. Thank you for your patience.
I am looking for a freelancer to help me with my project. The skill required is App Developer. Ideally an Android App Developer.
For the longest time now, I have been trying to figure out how I could most efficiently track and measure against certain inputs (various data involving health and fitness) so that I can more accurately and proactively influence my output (health & fitness performance). Generally speaking, it's quite easy to, say, go to the gym and jot down the [date] [workout] [set] [rep] [weight lifted] and [time of day]. This method is fairly rudimentary; I still can make adjustments just on my old lifting logs that lead to ongoing gains. However, I am confident that I could significantly improve performance if I regularly track some of the other inputs that would impact, say, strength gains. For example, {meal logs} {keytone logs} {heartrate variations and resting heart rate over time} {cardio logs} {sleep logs} are most of the ones I track separately.
Over the years, I have tried to collect my inputs in a bunch of different apps or even in MS Excel. Recently, I decided to put together just ONE input screen that allowed me to enter all the inputs mentioned above. Then I used VBA code to copy and paste into each input's respective tab. From there, I was planning on creating one, eh, data warehouse that I could then run analysis against.
Imagine this scenario... someone tracks all of the above on a regular basis. Over time, not only would I be able to see my trending gains or losses, but I would also begin to be able to diagnose or correct any sorts of stagnation in my performance.
There are a couple of fitness apps available on the Apple Store or Google Play, but none really get at what I am trying to do; moreover, and all lead me to have to track and measure using multiple systems.
I currently have a Microsoft Excel Workbook that, for the most part, does what I am trying to do. I would be more than happy to share that so y'all could get a feel for what I was trying to accomplish.
The app would need to have the ability to input the information mentioned above (also in my excel sheet) while also have a feature to be able to export into a .txt, .csv, or .xls format for analysis.
The last caveat... which may be the kicker. I would like to be able to sync my wearable to the app. Imagine the "Whoop Strap 2.0". If you search for that item in your browser, it should pop right up.
P.S. I won't be able to follow-up but once a day during the week. I will try and answer all your questions as soon as possible.
