Plivo’s <Speak> element to read out the caller’s name and greet the caller with “Hello (name of caller)” when the phone number is recognized. More specifically, here is what will happen behind the scenes: A call is made to the Plivo phone number assigned to your greeting application When the call is connected, Plivo detects the phone number. If the phone number is recognized, then Plivo will greet the caller with “Hello (name of caller)”. If the number is not recognized, Plivo will say “Hello Stranger!”. After the name is read, the call is automatically hung up. The Plivo iOS SDK v2/Android SDK allows you to make outgoing and receive incoming calls in your iOS/Android application. Besides, it supports Pushkit and Callkit. Eliminates the need for persistent connections to receive incoming calls. Users can make and receive calls when their device is connected to a network that uses IPv4, IPv6, or both versions of the protocol. TrueCaller already uses artificial intelligence(AI) using crawlers and predictive technology. As they gather information from all TrueCaller users' phones and work out on it using a form of AI to establish patterns and data elements that they use to match names and numbers. They have a huge database, they also link their contacts with everyone who has some app like WhatsApp or wechat or line and they take contacts from many sources and Broadband companies.
