Hey man, my name is Dylan Hicks. I am a classically trained guitarist. I studied Jazz theory in college but I play all types of music. An eclectic array of genres has allowed me to achieve a versatile approach toward my instrument. There are subtleties in each genre that give them their distinctive sounds. I can teach you the underlying theory to whatever approach suits you. Guitar is a very personal practice and this does not necessarily involve learning to read music. For guitar in particular it is relatively easy to convey these concepts without a scholarly approach. Having said that, learning to read and write may help you achieve your goals. While learning a new instrument you will discover a polymath allows different rudiments that you practice to overlap and with a good teacher and genuine compassion for you craft, you can achieve a freedom in your playing that is only akin to "surfing the wave of time."
It's pretty radical that you want to learn guitar. My friends and I are in the process of launching a non-profit that your capital would help launch. If you want to get in touch I would be happy to hear your guitar goals and give you particular tools to you need to achieve them as quick as possible. For the amount of money you are offering, honestly I would be willing to just keep in touch with as friends and be at your disposal whenever you feel is appropriate. I am a light hearted musician more than a freelancer by trade and i love discussing music on any level
