URGENTLY NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED IN 1 DAY Building a Relational Database System (RDBMS) for a Private University (PU) Using Oracle SQL* plus (Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release [login to view URL] - 64bit) The PU wants to resell the RDBMS system for other Pus The PU has the following data: - Students - Teachers - Course Registration of Students - Type of Course - Grades for each Course - Recording of all grades regardless of failure or resubmissions Programs are offered by this PU; Undergraduate and Postgraduate, and Teachers can teach different courses for different programs The RDBMS must record all courses taught by Teachers at anytime Fees: Degree Fees vary depending on the Program degree and on the type of students (local or international). Fees can be paid partly (in instalments) or fully and if fully paid a 10% discount is applied. Finally, if a Student fails a particular course , fees can be taken for that part only. All scholarships financed by external bodies are to be also included in the RDBMS Student Programs, Courses & Attendance: Students are allocated specific courses depending on the program where each course consists of a series of modules, and where some modules have pre-requisites. Each course is given a grade or mark based on exams or assignments. These grades are recorded on a marking student system. All courses start at the same time and have 2 semesters on a yearly basis. Class Student attendance is recorded on a register system for each department The RDBMS must also provide information on students related to: - Origin of Students with Statistics (such as 80% of Students are Asian) - Payment fees including late payment information - Student performance (based on grades) - Student attendance statistics - Courses most preferred by students - Average attendance for each teacher Requirements of the RDBMS (using SQLPLUS commands only): - RDBMS design using Entity Relationships with PK and FK - RDBMS queries scenarios including sub query and self join (tables to be populated up to 20 users as a sample) Testing the RDBMS using Component testing, Integrative testing, Systems testing, and acceptance testing Full report to be given with a summary of proposed control mechanisms The ERD is now ready
