I need to have nginx to work as a reverse proxy for Node-RED so that it can be seen at [url removed, login to view]
The Node-RED will be running at default port http://localhost:1880/
There will also be other services running behind the same nginx, each identified with the first component in the external server URL.
This task will be most likely require some configuration changes to Node-RED in addition to Nginx. I would hope that no code changes to Node-RED are required, but that might also be possible. Node-RED uses apparently also web sockets.
I'm also posting similar tasks for Grafana, IPython and Zeppelin.
Deliverables should be a working example of nginx and Node-RED config files.
Note: To filter out knowledgeable offers from noise, please explain in a few words why it usually is not enough just to proxy https://server/path to http://localhost/.
