[login to view URL] Job Description & Environment: As part of the Programming Department, you will work on developing game servers for iOS games. Within this framework, your main tasks will include: Defining the social and online features of our game servers closely with the design teams. Designing and developing our online servers, supervising their deplopment and their maintenance. Suggesting the best techniques to offer players the best social and online experience. Reference: “Online Programmer”Requirements: >2 yearsof professional experience in developing and launching online games or applications preferably on iOS or Android. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar fields or equivalent experience. ExcellentC/C++programming skills. Linuxdevelopment experience. Experience with network programming and client-server programming model using TCP/IP. Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL). Experience with web scripting language (PHP or Python). Experience in HTTP protocol and REST services. Experience in debugging / optimization / multithreading. Basic knowledge with securing systems (encryption, anti-cheating, denial of service). Motivated and passionate about video games. Independent, dynamic, thorough and enjoy working as part of a team. Fluent in English. Pluses: Prior network game or MMO development experience. Experience with scalability and high-availability development. Experience with load testing and automation Experience with peer-to-peer networking using UDP. Experience with routing, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, NAT. Experience with low-level network diagnostics tools such as tcpdump and wireshark. *A technical test will be required as the first step of the selection process.
