It’s that kind of spirit that drives our success now and in the future, and you could be part of it…<br/><br/>We are currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated 3PL Operations Manager to join our team and play a critical role within the South EU External Fulfilment (EF) team. The primary purpose of the role will be the management, control and direction of our 3PL operations in Spain and Italy plus additional support for our new EF sites as required, including specific operations for peak season.<br/><br/>The role of 3PL Manager is a critical position and delivers huge impact on customer experience, bottom line performance and future growth within the EF business.<br/><br/>You will report to the EF South EU Senior Manager (covering France, Spain and Italy), and you will be responsible for the relationship with our several 3PL providers in Spain and Italy. Interfacing with Spanish and Italian FC operations and Retail teams, as well as EU External Fulfilment, Supply Chain and Transportation teams, you will be in charge of running External Fulfilment operations/processes, improving customer experience, inventory management and external partner performance in a fast growing environment.<br/><br/><strong>The Role:<br/></strong><ul><li>Key member of the South EU External Fulfilment team focusing on running the operations of external fulfilment partners and driving constant process improvements in collaboration with the South EU Operations and Supply Chain management</li><li>The role requires you to influence the direction of the 3PL operations whilst leaving them the autonomy to work on improving the delivery through their own approach and processes</li><li>The role is open to applications who can demonstrate the requirements below while working for Amazon OR at a previous company</li><li>This role can be based either in Paris, France or in Madrid, Spain<br/></li></ul><strong>Key Tasks/ Responsibilities:<br/></strong><ul><li>Manage day-to-day vendor relationships with Spanish External Fulfilment partners and be the first escalation point for the vendor and also internally within Amazon</li><li>Manage the Italian External Fulfillment team toward highest standards, and promote amazon leadership principles</li><li>Develop and implement products visions that meet our customer’s needs while satisfying performance and budget goals.</li><li>Support external partners through launch phase in particular and train them to the required Amazon processes<br/></li></ul><strong> Basic Qualifications <br/><br/></strong>Basic Qualifications:<br/><ul><li>5+ years of Operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment</li><li>Excellent fulfilment operations knowledge preferable in 3PL environment</li><li>Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data</li><li>Good computer literacy: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word</li><li>Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.</li><li>Business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels</li><li>Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines</li><li>Fluent Spanish and English essential, other languages desirable<br/></li></ul><strong> Preferred Qualifications <br/><br/></strong>Preferred Qualifications :<br/><ul><li>Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality</li><li>Technical expertise - Solution-driven approach to systems &amp; processes</li><li>Experience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables; SQL / Visual Basic</li><li>Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a Science or Logistics based discipline or be a MBA graduate</li><li>Good Level of Italian and/or French would be an asset</li><li>Practiced working knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma</li></ul></div>
