Package Developer

Quadpack is looking for a Package Developer who procures efficient processing of project quotations and package developments.   The main functions are:   1. Package Development. Directly responsible for the entire management of project stage referred to Development of standard packs, including, among other activities: project sample management, project coordination with manufacturers or management of items in SAP. Shared responsibility together with the sales team member involved in the project stage referred to as Quotation. The Package Developer drafts offers drawing on information provided by sales team member and in accordance with the organisation’s established procedures and/or work instructions. Prepare the planning for the two assigned stages of the project, establishing timelines for each phase. Maintain on-going and open communication with the assigned sales team member, the customers and manufacturers.  2. Sourcing. Attain the best purchasing conditions through negotiation of each specific project with manufacturers. Participate actively in regular meetings held to coordinate and analyse projects on every product area. Visit suppliers, manufacturers and sector trade fairs when required.     3. Client Services.   Ensure orders validation, compliance and approvals of newly developed items. Participate in the analysis of customer satisfaction evaluations in relation to compliance with their needs regarding the product and service pursuant to the system established by the organisation. Participate actively in the opening, compiling of documentation and information, solving and closure of Non-Conformities. Carry out inspections and verification of partial or final project samples. Fully comply with quality requirements established by the organisation in order to manage a development with a manufacturer. Participate actively in compliance with business, departmental and personal objectives corresponding to the Package Development [login to view URL] training level studies, technical engineering or higher. Minimum two years’ experience in similar position in companies that develop projects and/or participating in project teams preferably in the packaging sector or similar sectors Preferred candidate should have knowledge of the cosmetics market and/or packaging sector. Preferred candidate should have knowledge of and experience with SAP or SAP B1 Sufficient knowledge is required to be able to operate using basic technical terminology and language associated with the activity carried out by the organisation (designs, technical specifications and similar). Preferred candidate should have complementary qualifications in Project Management or equivalent High level of English Skills in clients focus and team work is required for this position
