ASP.NET Portal Project

Looking for a sharp ASP.NET developer who can deliver a portal application. I will provide for you the HTML for the site, you will need to add in functionality components and code for a variety of functions. The following must be done: 1 -- Replace some static functions (menu, rotator) with Telerik's RAD Controls (a license and copy will be provided if you don't have one, but you must have experience with the RAD Suite). 2 -- Develop a method for retrieving updated (can be a drop delayed) stock quotes for a variety of symbols. 3 -- Implement a security scheme that allows access to certain pages for certain user groups. Users will be members of a group and groups will have access to certain resourcers. It must accomodate, depending on the group, both SAML single sign on and e-mail authentication for registration/login. The security MUST account for non ASP.NET files (such at PPT, XLS, video, etc.). It must also log usage into a database table. 4 -- The solution must allow for addition of pages (mostly HTML) without being recompiled, either through a database or CMS. 5 -- URLs must be intuitive. It is preferred that you would make use of "tried and true" components or other pre-built systems and integrate them rather than try and create everything from scratch. We will pay for those components so long as you mention it in your bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ASP.NET C# HTML Telerik RAD Controls MS SQL 2005 Will be hosted on a dedicated Windows server and SQL Server. You will have access to both.
