Google Maps API V3 - ASP.NET (Partial Completion)

Overview- This project involves developing a standalone ASP.NET module that will be Ajaxed into the main page. Nearly half of all development has already been completed. The programmer will be required to perform the backend coding and integration of the Google Maps API; in terms of requesting information from the API and the front end display of the results. The information needs to be requested and displayed via Javascript or C# and ASP.NET. Two mockups (see attachment B & C) for two of the screens that need to be developed demonstrate different and distinct functions that need to be integrated. Also attached is a list of all of the requirements necessary to complete this project. This project involves finishing all of the requirements marked Phase One. There has been a significant amount of work already completed. Please take this into account when bidding on the project. Technical Details - The API needs to be integrated in a specific way. Here is the technical information about exactly what method you will need to use in order to integrate properly with our setup: Microsoft technologies (asp.net or classic asp) will need to be used to access the APIs as well as HTML, CSS, and Javascript for the front end display. Ajax/Jquery can be used to fetch data as long as it is not making excessive requests which would affect scalability. Event handlers must be in the form of Jquery requests and NOT native .Net event handlers. No PHP. For example: An ASPX page with a code behind CS file that would load the data from the API as well as accept query parameters and return pieces of information.
