Implementation of SOAP / XML Hotel Reservation Content and Booking System

This project involves implementing the [login to view URL] Last Minute reservation system for a hotel travel portal web site. The the system is required to work on Windows Server running IIS. Our preference for the implementation is Visual Basic. To integrate with the current web site, two major sections are required. 1. Downloading of all hotel content to add to the current Hotel database 2. Booking process including collection of customer details. The RatesToGo Web Services platform allows seamless integration into the RatesToGo hotel reservation system. The platform consists of the four core services: * **Content** Includes methods required to access "static" RatesToGo data, eg. Destination and Language lists, basic Hotel Data etc. * **Availability** Includes methods required to check availability for specific destination, hotel or a list of hotels. * **Reservation** Includes methods required to create, cancel and view details of a hotel reservation. **Utilities** Includes various methods helpful in debugging and implementation of some additional site features. Access to further or full documentation can be provided to winning bidder. Perhaps one of the most important things Web Services can offer businesses is a streamlining of middleware integration. Web Services allow for "dynamic integration" - the ability to integrate new applications with one another without time-consuming custom coding - between suppliers, partners and customers.
