Coder required with ASP (pref classic but .NET if necessary) experience. XML and Flash component/actionscript experience most likely also required.
I have a site where users complete a simple HTML form with ~12 fields. The form is then processed using server-side ASP and a personalized response is generated based upon the users' input. The response is then displayed on screen for saving/printing.
I am looking to add a seamless, dynamically-generated video response as an option. That is, based upon the users' input, the server-side script selects a series of very short video clips to be concatenated into a single longer movie for immediate viewing. *I need someone to write the code for playing this movie while passing the variables onto the server again* so that the personalized response can be generated after the movie (I am open to other solutions).
I have tried using a few Flash components, like [login to view URL]'s Video Player FX and can almost accomplish this by tweaking my existing code and adding the appropriate XML. If helpful, I can provide the code from these (feeble :-) ) attempts.
The site can experience very high loads so scalability and a stress test of the final solution will be important. I'm currently on a shared IIS server but may move to the Cloud if necessary. The site is rather large and employs ASP through-out so I'm committed to continuing with ASP but might consider ASP.NET if the benefits are there.

Additionally, we'll likely need to figure out pre-caching of the individual clips to ensure they display seamlessly (i.e. they appear as a single continuous movie).
Extensibility is important.
Another eventual enhancement will be to create a single concatenated movie for download (instead of just for viewing on-screen as per above), but this is for a future project.
I have no preference for video type (e.g. .mp4, .flv etc.) as I will create these later (I have some clips for testing purposes now).
Although I have mentioned Flash, I am open to other solutions, especially given Apple iToys' aversion to Flash :-).
I am familiar with ASP and have limited knowledge of XML and actionscript.
For someone who knows what they are doing I suspect this will be a fairly easy project. So I am hoping for completion within 1 week but likely no later than 2 weeks.
If permitted, please feel free to ask for clarification of any part of this Request for Proposals. A non-disclosure agreement may be required later in the hiring process.
Thank you.
