I have a working email program on a Unix machine using the PHP mail() function. The issue is the ISP can not handle it (timeouts) and does not allow mass mailings on their server. The mailing list is 2000+ people. I need to route the email through to my ISP - a Windows machine - using SMTP. My expertise is in Windows/ASP/CDO - I have looked over the Unix/PHP code for routing the email to a Remote SMTP and found it confusing compared to the ASP equivalent. I orginally outsourced this piece of the project and the coder has been on vacation and will continue to be on vacation through next week. I need a quicker response than that for my client.
