Graphic Designers Needed

We are looking for Graphic Designers to build websites and website templates using our proprietary system. To help us find the right designers, we are conducting a contest. You are bidding on Phase 1 of this contest. We will select several candidates for Phase 1. We expect you to spend at least 10 hours on this project. All selected candidates must inform us when they would like to commence work on the project, and we will create a new job on Rentacoder for you based on your bid amount, with a 24 hour deadline. All selected candidates will be paid, provided that a website is built (which involves the delivery of a proprietary file to us). All candidates must complete the work by next Wednesday, 7/20/2005. Phase 1 involves: - learning how to use our proprietary system (there is a 100 page manual) - building a simple website using our system, based on the exact content of an existing 5 page website but using your own graphic design. This is the deliverable. 1. Essential Skills ============= - strong HTML - strong CSS - able to develop styles that appear consistent when viewed from all popular browsers 2. Your Portfolio ============= Please provide links to websites that you have built in the past. 3. Additional Skills ============== Please grade yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 in the following areas. Please be honest, it is not essential that you possess all of these skills: - Dreamweaver - FrontPage - any other website building software (please list) - Flash - SEO - Logo Creation - Banner Design - English Fluency - Technical Writing Ability (English) - MS Word (please indicate version you have) - MS Excel (please indicate version you have) - PHP - Please list any sources that you use for stock photography ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
