** Instant Messaging system** System must be designed in n-tier model. Must have a client, an administration site, middle tier must manage services and persistence and a Database layer. The system must store date, time, users and the content of every conversation or thread between users and must be able to make queries for any of these criteria. Administration site must have the following applications: - Create/Update/Delete Users & passwords - Create/Update private Groups (user level) and public groups (system level) - Grant or deny permissions for a user to communicate with other user or group - Perform queries for any criteria: o Date / Time o Users o Words or phrases in the content - Parametrize options like: o Private users/passwords/security or Operating system integrated (Logon authentication) o Users can create accounts or not o Users can review their conversations or not **Requirements:** Client, server and administer modules independent installers. Client interface must be similar to Yahoo or MSN.
