Mobile Flash Card Program Prototype - J2ME

A prototype program for studying/reviewing vocabulary lists. ** Main Points:** - J2ME Application (for 903sh Phone) - 11 words to choose from (http load) - Attention to design appreciated (with an [login to view URL] splash screen) **Card Display** Displays one word at a time, with three buttons (either keypad or toggle selectable). Button 1: (I Know Button) - flags the card as a known word decreasing its probability of displaying again, displays next word Button 2: (I Don't Know Button) - flags the card as an unknown word increasing its probability of displaying again, displays word definition. If word definition is displayed, displays next word. Button 3: (Show Me Button) - Displays word definition and reading with a one click (up on phone toggle) **Program Finish** After all words have been "known" for more than 5 times, display a "Finish" screen which gives scores on words learned like: word known unknown 1) CAD 5 15 2) DAT 6 12 3) DBMS 5 8 4) DLL 8 8 5) DNS 5 2 where the list is the top 5 sorted by times unknown in decsending order. Future Work (NOT included in this project, but For Your Information) will include: user sessions (i.e. word statistics saved after termination), user profiles, multitbyte characters, graphics and sound media. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
