Project Overview:
We are looking for a professional PHP developer with solid experience in MySQL, PHP, JavaScript, HTML to implement a number of enhancements and debug existing code in a knowledge management platform. Applicant should be familiar with debugging, improving software developed by other programmers, and performance tuning SQL queries.
Ongoing work can be secured if project delivery exceeds expectation.
Project Requirements:
Customisation and enhancement of PHP application.
• (new) Addition of CSS themes across platform, and the ability to customise.
• (new) Implement pop-up in bottom corner for announcement and reminders.
• (enhance) Modification of existing frame-sets, and object layout.
• (enhance) Modify search capability to enable fuzzy / wildcard search.
• (new) Creation of module to import Microsoft Word document into HTML, extraction and linking of images within database / file system.
• (enhance) Modification of current import feature to ensure imported documents are named uniquely.
• (enhance) Modify user creation process to extend the username char beyond current limit.
• (new) Batch import user accounts from CSV file.
• (new) Creation of module to generate pre-defined reports and email to nominated user.
• (enhance) Modify file system location of graphics used within application to point to a more intuitive location.
• (extend) Extend article view to provide first 300 chars of article on mouse over in index.
• (new) Reminder Module
• (new) Implementation of Question and Answer (similar to Microsoft help) to navigate knowledge management system.
