Dynamic news page and whole-site search
$100-500 USD
Pagado a la entrega
I need a dynamic news page and whole-site search functionality built. 1. There will be a page that lists the news releases: [url removed, login to view] 2. There will be a page that lists news archives: [url removed, login to view] 3: There will be individual news releases: [url removed, login to view] Note that each news release can have an optional downloadable pdf file. 5: There will be an admin page to add, edit, and delete news releases: [url removed, login to view] The admin page will be password protected. It should be clear how I want it to work from my example. 6: I also need a search feature across the entire website, that will include searching text within the news releases. ---------- Each of the above pages must look exactly like and operate like I have shown in the .shtml pages above. You'll note that I am using a search script; it is only temporary, and only serves to demonstrate how I want the search results to be formatted. You do not have to use any of what I have there. Use of open source scripts is acceptable, but security is a concern. The platform is PHP and mySQL, and I do not have access to the control panel or database admin; instead I have to contact the website admin by phone to set up anything you build for me, when necessary. I would prefer to keep my shtml file structure as it currently exists... meaning that I do not want to convert the entire website to php.

Addendum to bid request description:
1) News Archiving: the news releases will automatically archive after 12 months. This means that one would only see news items from the most recent 12 month period on the current news releases page. Only 12 months of news stories will remain in the archive, those that are older than 12 months should automatically delete (if possible.)
2) Search: The important thing about the search is to make it operate from the search box that I have placed as an include file on every shtml page. It is a simple input field and a submit button. If things like google search can be used without changing the appearance of the main search box, then that is OK. The pages to be searched are all news items plus all static shtml pages.
3) SHTML: I don't mind if the news pages are built in php. What I do want is for those pages to use my existing include files for the header, main menu, search box, and footer.
4) News Item display: These will display most recent at the top.
5) News Item Editing: we can use wysywig editing if you want. I can make a new admin page template that uses the full width for this.
