Connect WP plugin's function to theme social buttons -- 2

This plugin rewards customers for their loyalty to our website: [login to view URL] Among rewards for other actions, it also rewards users/customers for sharing a page on social media, but only when shared through the native social buttons that are displayed by the plugin. Now I would like to connect this functionality to the wordpress theme's custom social share buttons, so users/customers will get their rewards after social sharing content through the theme's custom social sharing buttons. I already know from the plugin developer which functions they use to reward social sharers and can send those details to you right away. Besides this I would like a shortcode that displays an also already existing function. I know which function this is, only problem is I can't get the shortcode to display it.
