I am looking to create a software package that installs a small remote control package on the end users machine similar to VNC or gotoassist.com.
The program should put my company's logo in the users systray. When the user clicks on the icon the get a menu with 3 options: Send "my company" Email, Contact "my company" by Phone, and Recieve Remote Support.
The remote support software should connect to a fully qualified domain name that I specify on a specific port. That should trigger a wakeup call to a server piece running on the listening machine, which can then take control of the remote machine and transfer files.
A VERY professional looking menu is desired and AES encryption is an added value to me and I will pay a little for it.
The Email Image should bring up a new message in the users default mail program with a subject I specify.
The Contact "My Company" link should show our phone numbers and address and have a link to yahoo maps with our location.
The server-side application should have audible and visual alerts for when remote assistance is requested. These audible alerts should continue until someone acknowledges them.
The server-side should also log the senders IP address, connect, and disconnect times.
Authentication is not required but will be given a bonus if it is implemented. This is bonus work only and will be rewarded based upon quality if you choose to implement it.
We are willing to really reward a high quality product.
