Google Oauth2.0 Expert

I need someone experienced in google Oauth2.0 to help me with an error in my code. I previously had google Oauth but it has since been updated and now I am unable to get user's info and store it in my database. To get and store user's info I did the following in the original Oauth,, this->client->verifyIdToken()->getAttributes(); sql = " INSERT INTO google_users (google_id, email) VALUES ({$payload['id']}, '{$payload['email']}') " After updating to Oauth2 (And fixing other settings ofcourse) I am now aware that the correct way to get user's info is by $this->verifyIdToken["info"] However I am having trouble implementing this in my code as well as saving info in database.
