Zencart - displaying ?? for chinese characters

I have recently installed a new plugin - Testimonial Manager (free from zencart) but it's not displaying Chinese characters well. All of them are shown as ?? at website front. I did install chinese language pack but it's still not displaying - while other stuffs on the website are already in chinese (when selected language to chinese). So I only need help to display the testimonial chinese words - as I don't plan to display chinese language option for store front (all english only).
