Our point-of-sale software uses a firebird database. In this database a already preconfigured "Stored Procedure" generates a daily financial report that contains all neccesary data and labels to know what is what. This already "Stored Procedure" in our Firebird database can be accessed by a new to develop application that starts the "Stored Procedure" for the financial report by a to be developed daily automated scheduled application, that uses the given data and exports the financial report data to specific export formats in PDF, Excel and XML and automatically sends the neccesary files to an e-mail address, ftp location or upload it otherwise to a location on the web for third party cloud applications like Exact Online or Twinfield. The daily financial report contains the values for the: - Reporting Start Date and Time - Reporting Stop Date and Time - Location name - Gross Usage Amount - Costs by Own Use - Costs by Loss - Costs by Give Away Items - Costs by Discounts Given - Nett Sales Total - Receivings by Cash Payments - Receivings by Card Payments - Receivings by Gift Card Payments - Cash Out - Cash In - Nett Sales by Low VAT 6% - Nett Sales by High VAT 21% - Nett Sales by Non VAT 0% - Nett sales by Sales Group For this project we need a programmer that is well experienced with Firebird databases, php, web based applications, Excel and XML. We would like to develop different custom export formats for the same financial report data, based on the requirements for the third party applications that want to process the data.

Hello, I do have the experienced with Firebird databases, PHP, web based applications, Excel and XML and therefore would be interested to learn more about your "Stored Procedure". Do you plan to use any third party API/XML for fetching for your application ? If yes, please provide a data feed sample or specify the API which ever you think is applicable. The data display can be done in two ways.... 1.1 Parse the data from the source site and displayed directly on your website. This usually happens if the feed format is either through and API or XML. A copy of the data can be stored in the database. 1.2 Data is first stored in the database and the site frontend queries the data from the database as opposed to point 1. This usually happens if the data feed is in CSV format. So let me know your exact plan, Regards, Prasun
