The previous person I assigned this gig to had to cancel the order "due to health reasons" but also never kept me updated on progress, in the end he lied about having done something when he never even made a start. I know this is a somewhat bigger part of the project so I guess I just want to confirm that you and your team are up for this. Any thoughts on the structure so far? There are a few key areas that I identified based on the initial requirements. Design CRUD Operations for… - Boarding a Trip - Drivers and any trips assigned to them - Handling payments (integrating Stripe) - Updating Profile (incl. Password change) - Manipulating Bus Stops - Manipulating Bus Data (new DB table, see below) - Trip Management - User management - Promotions Add Role-based Authorisation to routes to restrict unauthorised users from accessing/manipulating the data. Integrate Stripe for one-off (single top-up) and automatic (when balance drops below $10) top-ups so that the user has funds to pay a bus fare. As you know, they don’t book tickets in advance but rather have an account balance from which money is deducted every time they use the shuttle. Promotions management (discount promotions such as: Percentage off bus fare, or Price override), there should be a way to design it so that it can only be used once per user in a given timeframe, or many times by a user within a certain timeframe. eg. 10% off fare between 1 - 14 August 2019 as often as you like, or: One-time $1 fare (instead of say $3) valid once per user between 1 - 14 August 2019. The university has multiple busses and these should be in the database (there is not yet a table to store bus data - you can create that). A bus has a licence plate number, make, model, seating capacity. Admins must be able to assign busses for a trip so that the driver knows which bus to use when they start their shift.
