open source wordpress plugin modification

Hi, I am using an open source wordpress plugin called "WP Multisite Content Copier" and I need a small modification done. The way the plugin works it copies an entire page/post to a subsite on wordpress multisite. In doing so it syncs the two pages so if you edit one it changes the other. I don't want them to sync, unless I choose that option. I want to be able to edit either the copy or original without affecting the other copies. I would also be interested in adding one more function. Right now the plugin only works with pages/posts on the one domain, I would be interested in making it so it can copy to other wordpress installs on different domains.
