php, mysql search form fix - cookies, deprecated each function etc

I have a search form (using post) on a site that is having a few issue.
- the cookies are not being set or flushed correctly so after a few searches no results are returned.
- on the search for there is a deprecated "each" function that should be replaced with the php7 equivalent.
- Some of the searches not working as expected.
The project requires someone that can handle all this to get the search page working.
