updating shipment tracking information to dispatched magento v1 orders

I am trying to find a way to update dispatched orders with carrier and tracking information via csv within the built in magento Shipping and Tracking Information feature.
I need to update the tracking information via the order number and do this in bulk with 100+ records per csv.
The csv layout would be Order Number,Tracking Number,Carrier Code,Title
as per [login to view URL]
I can currently upload a csv with order numbers and tracking information via an amasty extension but this will only work on none dispatched orders.
All orders only have one dispatched so the logic could be to look for the first or only existing displacement record based on the order ID in the csv and assign tracking information via the best available Magento function.
I would be happy to extend on the amasty extension is possible to make this job as straightforward as possible but can accept a stand alone extension if needed.
