write code for weekly time table creating site

General description - a program for creating time table for academic department. we talking weekly time table, see example below. note: preferably web-based, reading data form data base (SQL based if possible) few general remarks: I need this as base frame for tool I want to expend in the future, so: - I ONLY need the source! no need to have running site. if it works localywith http emulater (e.g. glassfis) tht's good enough - look doesn't matter - exact technology (e.g. java script / php / etc.) doesn't matter - no need to be a "profesional" product, only working product with good base. - must have source code (no need to be original, using existing open source etc is fine) - must be structured in a way that will make it possible (and easy) for me to change, expend. etc in the future meaning: good coding style, scale able, easy to understand, OOP if needed, etc. important: all the details I'm adding are suggestions, if you have better way or better ideas, great! the problems with creating time table for academic department: 1. get the preferences from the lectures. 2. have GUI for creating the time table 3. check collisions the solutions: 1. have page for the lectures, the lectures sign in to the site, and put in his preferences (see attached sketch) 2. the admin sign in, seeing the preferences from all the lectures, and make time table accordingly (see attached sketch) 3. the program check collisions and report them the product: a time table (printed, or a file) more details: 1. the admin login in and creating new academic year or semester. let's say for year 2018: the tree is - Apple University -> The Biology department -> academic year 2018 -> campus B -> BA -> year 2 -> semester A note: this need to be agile. all we need is a tree like data structure that enable us to create structured data base. the user can create as many layers as he like and call them as he pleased. the structure/name are NOT pre-determined. now the admin feels in all the data for the specific semester: the courses names. each course has - - course name - how many classes are during the week - for each class during the week: how many hours - lecture name each lecture has - - lecture name - lecture mail (I might forgot something here, it isn't close list, if more details needed that's ok) 2. the admin send to the lectures link, they enter and see GUI in which they entering their preferences for each course. (see attached sketch) admin determine how many options each lecture need to give: let's say lecture A teach 3 classes, a, b, c. the admin determine how many possible times the lecture need to give to each class. 3. the lecture fills in his preferences press "save". 4. admin see all preferences from all lectures. now it is time to make time table. the admin see GUI represents the week, on which he see the preferences, and put in the classes in place. (see attached sketch) if possible, admin can switch between courses view / lectures view (see attached sketch) 5. if admin determine it impossible to make time table: (for example because the preferences colliding) - sending to lectures to feel preferences again. 6. when time table ready, save to file. for any questions, inquiries, suggestions, cost, etc: [login to view URL] at gmail dot com thanks!
