Membership Application and File Uploader Script A Membership Application Form must include the following: 1. FULL NAME, (Required) 2. FULL POSTAL ADDRESS, a. Address 1 (Required) - b. Address 2 c. Town / City (Required) d. State / County (Required) e. Zip / Post Code (Required) f. Country (Required) 3. EMAIL ADDRESS – verified as an email address (Required) 4. I Compose; (choose from... “COMPLETE SONGS”,” LYRICS ONLY”, “MUSIC ONLY”) (Required) 5. GENDER (Choose from...” MALE”, “FEMALE”, (Required) 6. Password (at least six characters) 7. Re-Affirm password 8. Capcha or something comparable. • When the application form is completed the member is given a unique folder with an ID number where all his / her work will be uploaded The membership number should incorporate the date of joining for example -- Mem201730121419958907 • The applicant will receive an “Activate Account” email to verify email address. (B) The account must be activated within 1 (one) hour or else account is automatically deleted • Admin receives “New Member” confirmation with all the new members’ details including the applicants IP address --------------------------------------------------------------- Members’ up-loader form should contain the following - (graphically powered with upload status) Field 1 = AUTHOR 1 NAME (Minimum of six letters) (Required) Field 3 = AUTHOR 2 NAME = default = None Field 4 = TYPE OF FILES = Select from – choice of two = (Songs & Music) or (Lyrics) (Required) Field 5 = NAME OF ALBUM OR COLLECTION (Required) Field 6 = Number of tracks to upload maximum 14 per category (Required) Field 7 = TITLES of TRACKS = should display the number chosen in field 6 = 01. 02. 03 etc. up to 14 (Numbered) Field 8 = MEMBERS FOLDER NUMBER. (Should be automatically inserted) – Field 9 = A tick box to agree with the terms and conditions as stated on the website (Required) - A Submit Button Notes • Only registered members should be able to access the file upload utility. • For security reasons the client should not have any privileges or control over their files once uploaded. • The client would need to login for each upload session. • Song / Music uploads and lyric uploads must be 2 distinct and separate categories. • The ability for a user to upload multiple songs /music tracks or sets of lyrics per session (up to 14 maximum) • Script prompts a user if the file format they are uploading is not supported, • Script must allow punctuation marks such as commas, apostrophes, quotation marks etc. • The upload process must include a working progress bar • Each track / song uploaded must be numbered accordingly (01, 02, 03, 04, etc.) • The script must save the submitted files to the designated members folder unique to the client • The script should only allow certain file types to be uploaded: these must be specified as variables (e.g. for songs / music = mp3. wma. And for lyrics = txt.doc. pdf .zip .rar) • The script should provide error trapping, in case the files are not uploaded properly, it will alert the user and prompt them to “re-submit” the “failed” files. • When an upload session successfully completes a confirmation email should be sent to the client • The Admin will receive an email with: “Client name” with email address has uploaded “xx” number of songs / lyrics to the folder = “unique folder number”. • must be compatible in all browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) -
