Project #2 Objective: To create an API for sales data to be sent from a kiosk to the current web inventory application. Data structure is already created with current inventory, par levels for items, ect. The addition will need to take sales data by line item and group like items by barcode(upc field in database) and subtract the total of the sales for that kiosks from the inventory for a specified location. A record of sales needs to be created for each individual transaction as well by item and monetary denominations. Kiosk Inventory data Currently we have a C# WPF kiosk application that we maintain and have a developer that can help create new implementation to push the data to the new API built on top of this project for Django. Inventory will be linked by the UPC of an item. Each item is assigned a UPC and the item is assigned to a machine at a location. When the data from the kiosk comes in and there are new sales for that item, the total of sales for that item by UPC for the location will be deducted from the current items inventory level. You will not need to create the item, location, machine structure because that has already been done. information to be committed to the database for the API are attached in the document of the projects
