Raspberry pi to raspberry pi remote communication to control a cnc engraver

Hello, i like your project! I'm an experienced Raspberry Pi developer- have a look at my blog as a reference: www.knight-of-pi.org. I'Ve already experimented with the Raspberry Pi bluetooth interface and have a bunch of Pis here for further testing. Will the Pis also be connected over Wifi for the camera image transmission?
