Statistical Analysis of Quantitative Data

This written individual assignment involves reporting on the analysis of quantitative data provided as part of a research project. The number of words of this report is limited to 1500. Specifically, the assignment will consist of the following parts: Research question and hypotheses • Hypothesis/es need to be based on a minimum of 3 variables. • Specify the role of the variables in your model (i.e. independent, mediator, moderator, dependent). • Give a brief definition and description of your key constructs Analytical strategy • A description of all the steps taken in the analysis of the data (from raw data to hypothesis testing). Common sequential steps include: data cleaning and dealing with missing values, recoding counter-indicative items, computing reliability, computing scale means, assembling a full correlation matrix (including means, standard deviations, and reliabilities on the diagonal) and hypothesis testing. Results • Presentation of the results pertinent to hypothesis testing • Be sure to include a presentation and a discussion of the relevant statistics at each step (e.g. a discussion of issues that stand out in the full correlation matrix; the results of some type of regression analysis); Conclusion • Based on your analysis what conclusion do you draw about your hypotheses?
