Node.js emailing solution that allows customisation of "from" field

We are developing a web platform in partnership with another company that allows users to contact their members of government. A key feature is the ability for us to email the users government member respective from the users email.
What we want is the ability to send plain-text emails from the users email address without bugging the user (we will get user authorisation of course). If we send the email from a business email it would likely go to spam.
We attempted Postmark sender signatures however it's quite faulty.
With proposals I would like to know exactly how you would approach this issue.
