We are looking to create a script that takes the current state of a VPS and recreates it as a standalone Docker container. It pertains a CentOS 7 VPS that is running both a Prestashop and Django instance (each with their own databases). The script is preferably programmed in Python. The goal is to allow our developers to generate an identical copy of our production server in an easy, fast, and replicable way. It is worth emphasizing that this copy needs to be completely standalone. Furthermore, the Docker container needs to include a webserver so that the Prestashop website and Django backend are reachable outside of the Docker container, and it needs to be configured for SSH access. Please only respond if you have deployment experience with Docker containers, Django, and a PHP based e-commerce instance (such as PrestaShop). Only candidates that submit a brief bill of labor are considered.

Hello Sir I understand the problem you face regarding the installation environment creation again and again. Not only can we create the script to install Docker and Prestashop but we can even automnate the server creation if you have a good VPS provider. We run automation scripts in our own business which creates VPS installs Odoo in them and configures Odoo for production. It also creates subdomain entries and links it to server. We have idea in script deployment. The script will NOT be in Python . It will BASH Shell Script.

Can help you with creation such script, which create/configure proper local docker based stack for development/running identical Django app/Prestashop store with state/data, like it works currently on your production server. So generally see this in this way: script save/get proper files/db data from production serve (on latest state)/create/running docker based stuck for local run (with all proper services needed for successful run)/unpack files/db from previously generation under this stack and all needed for run (in overlays). All works can be done quickly, since worked with similar tasks in past. Tnx and Regards.
