I am looking for a windows 7 / Windows 10 application that can be installed as a service and be able to send and receive data from a raspberry pi, in addition to executing simple commands (as long as the Raspberry pi provides appropriate authentication and that windows user has the rights to the file/executable.) - Raspberry Pi connects to PC via USB ONLY - no ethernet - Correct Data transfer cable is connected between PC and Raspberry Pi - A windows service is started and listens for a connection from the RPi - generated Keys are exchanged (preferred), or a username/password is sent from RPi to Windows - Once authenticated, RPi can send a specific set of commands which are interpreted by the service and executed on Windows. For example, command '123' sent from the Pi is interpreted by the Windows Service as "cmd /c echo %computername%" - The RPi should also be able to copy files from the RPi to Windows by issuing a command on the RPi

Hello, I can offer you a solution here in Labview. So you will get a nice interface to send command to RBI and read back its answers. This will be a stand alone program for Windows computers.
