Listen up Nigel (2 seconds) Listen up Nigel (2 seconds) Listen up Nigel (2 seconds) Listen up Nigel (2 seconds) Listen up Nigel (2 seconds)・・・ 25 times.
Do this for all 4 phrases and you are finished!
*Please record each phrase as its own file*
HOWEVER: For each recording, please change your intonation, pronunciation, or otherwise alter your way of speaking for the last 10 repetitions of each phrase. For example "Ready Nigel" and "Ready Nigel?".
So, 15 times one way, 10 times another.
You should save both patterns as 1 file (For a total of 4 files and 8 patterns).
It will probably take you only 20 mins in total!
The 4 phrases are:
1) Listen up Arc
2) Ready Nigel
3) Listen up Nigel
4) Attention Nigel

Android: [url removed, login to view]
Start recording! 1 file for 1 phrase (4 files total).
Make sure the file format is .WAV, 48kHz, 16bit.
These should be the default settings, but if your settings are different, you can change these settings easily from the settings menu (lower left hand corner on Android, upper left on iOS)
Be sure to speak loudly and clearly so that your voice is picked up by your phone's microphone well. Holding your phone roughly 15 cm from your face will yield the clearest results.
Ensure that you do say the phrase 25 times. If it is less than 25 times you may be asked to re-record and resubmit.
You can check the files attached below for an example of how to pace your recordings.
Send the files to your own email or download them onto your computer.
You can do this either by connecting your phone to your computer, or by "sharing" the files by email and sending that to yourself.
Step 1) select the recording
Step 2) send it to your own email address
Step 3) receive the email on your PC
Step 4) save the file
Step 5) upload it to Conyac via your application page.
Please use the following format to name your files: Phrase #_Username_Gender(F/M)_Age(20/30/40/etc).wav
For example: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]
*Note: It may take several minutes for your file to arrive in your inbox. Don't panic, it will show up eventually.
Attach the files to this project.
Navigate to your application page and click "upload a file". Attach your 4 files and send the message. Congratulations, you're finished!
A few additional notes before you get started:
There are other voice recording apps available on both iOS and Android smartphones, as well as on other platforms. If you wish to use those instead, you are welcome to, so long as the file you submit is a .wav file, recorded at 48 MHz and 16-bits.
There are other ways to transfer your file from your device to your computer. If you prefer to use another method, you may, as long as you can upload the file to Conyac.
