I have done a course and worked for a Medical Transcription company in the past. I then did my Masters in Computer Applications and I have worked for a software company as a System Engineer for the last 10 years. I am good at Medical Transcription and Audio Transcription (English). So, I think I am a fit candidate to apply for this job.
My typing speed is around 50 words per minute with an accuracy of around 98%. I have studied in an English medium school and I would be good at editing also. Hoping to have a long-term association with you. I belong to a family of Doctors, so medical terminology is not a problem.
Before you hire me, you may send the audio file that you want to transcribe, along with the template or format. I would be seeing whether it is clear and audible, I would be transcribing the first 3 minutes and sending it to you as a sample. If you feel that the transcription is of good quality, you can hire me through Freelancer.
Highlighting a guess word: If in any case I do not understand a word, should I leave it as <___02:30___> or [___02:30___] or do you want it in any other way?
I would be doing one audio hour in 3 days. Kindly let me know if you want a verbatim (word to word) or intelligent (omit words like you know, umm, etc) transcription. Also, do let me know the exact file extension that you want the transcribed file in.
